Mr. Issam Al Tawari is currently the Founder and Managing Partner of Newbury Economic Consulting which provides DCM advisory and SME infrastructure support. He was the founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Rasameel Structured Finance Company and Chairman of Rasameel Investment Bank, a Dubai-based, DIFC-regulated bank. Earlier in his career, he served as an Associate Director at Arab Banking Corporation (ABC), Bahrain and the Chief Operating Officer at International Investor (TII), Kuwait.
He is currently an independent board of director at Alkhabeer Capital, a Jeddah-based investment company and Saudi Refinance Company, a Riyadh-based investment company.
He is a member of the Kuwaiti Economics Society, the Kuwaiti Islamic Economic Society, and was a member of Young Arab Leaders Association (YAL). In addition, he is both a Harvard Business School and Henley Management College Alumni and received his MBA from University of Hull (Dist.), England in 1998 and his B.A. from Kuwait University.
